Recent research indicates that just two things can make a significant difference to improve the likelihood of maintaining relationships: developing meaningful relationships with existing clients' future heirs and engaging younger investors on their own terms, recognizing their distinct needs and perspectives.\n\n Planning for the relatively young is inherently difficult. The planning horizon for someone under 40 may well be 50 or 60 years, and include three or more decades working. These clients may not yet know how many—if any—children or other dependents they will have, and have little sense of the lifestyle they will want when they retire.\n\n Bernstein has developed a planning framework for younger investors to identify appropriate investment solutions for near-term goals, like home ownership and college savings, as well as saving for future spending. This program will offer strategies to engage the next generation.
