Drew is a shareholder in the firm of Briggs and Morgan, Professional Association. He is based in the St. Paul office and is a member of the Estate Planning and Administration Section. Drew’s focus is in estate planning.

Drew assists individuals in drafting wills and trusts, administers trusts and estates, and prepares related federal income and estate tax returns. He is a frequent lecturer on topics including retirement plan distributions, drafting the disclaimer revocable trust, the probate process and drafting will and trust documents.

Drew is a member of the Minnesota State and American Bar associations and was recently elected to the Probate and Trust Section counsel of the Minnesota State Bar Association. He was recently appointed a member of the board of directors for Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS). He has been listed as a "Minnesota Rising Star” in  Minnesota Law & Politics. Drew is also a member of the MSBA Probate and Trust Section, Legislative Committee, which drafted the provisions of the Uniform Principal and Income Act adopted by the Minnesota legislature in 2001.

Born in Lamar, Colorado, Drew received his B.A. magna cum laude in economics and Russian from St. Olaf College and his law degree cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School. Drew is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to joining Briggs, he was an associate with another law firm where he concentrated his practice in the area of estate planning. He joined Briggs in 2001.
